Take a scenic ride along the creek, through the green pastures, and down
the hill to our 12 acres of U-Pick pumpkin fields were you pick your own pumpkin
right from the vines they grew on!

Our Goat Exhibit! Kids and Adults can go inside and feed and play with the goats.
The children and adults alike spend endless hours with our barnyard
friends and learn interesting facts about animals on the farm! Did you
know llamas were used as guard animals for sheep, to keep predators like
coyotes away? Come visit with one of our two llamas we have here on our
farm that watch over our flock of sheep!
Have you ever been on a train ride? Kids love riding inside one of our barrels as we drive the train around the farm…mom & dad can ride too!

The kids will love to spend time in the bounce house and jump around.
Each weekend, we set up a different inflatable
bounce house from a
castle, to a jungle, and even a rocket ship the kids are sure to have
fun!

Do the kids love ponies? Let them take a ride on one of our ponies…don’t
forget the camera to capture this memorable moment!

Let the kids wander through the straw maze and find their way out? Can
you guess how many bales of straw it took to
make our maze?

Children & adults will enjoy riding the Peddle Go-Karts around the track, but don't wear out those legs practicing because when the race begins the fastest driver wins a pumpkin!!!

History: Millennium Farms Pumpkin Patch began when we grew our first pumpkins in
May 2003. We opened for business in September, and we sold pre-picked
pumpkins & gourds out of our yard, and provided a petting zoo in our
barn. We had local schools visiting the farm on field trips during the
weekdays.
The following year, Spring/Fall 2004, we planted a 2-acre field close to
the house and offered a U-Pick for families to walk out and pick their
own pumpkins, and still offered pre-picked assortments of pumpkins and
gourds for sale. We added a few more animals to our petting zoo, and
built a Straw Maze that year, which everyone enjoyed. The number of
schools scheduling field trips grew rapidly, and our small little
pumpkin patch was a huge attraction to local families & schools.
In 2005, we began offering pumpkin hayrides to our pumpkin field were
families picked their own pumpkins. Also, we planted our first Corn
Maze, and brought in an Inflatable Bounce House, which was a huge
attraction to those who visited the farm. Our weekdays became booked
with school tours, and word began to spread about our pumpkin farm, and
we started having visitors from miles away coming to our pumpkin farm.
We were astonished and could not believe our small pumpkin venture which
started just 3 short years ago, had turned into an Agri-tourism Business
right before our eyes.
We couldn’t stop here, and decided we would have to add something new
the next year. So, in 2006 we added the Train Barrel Rides, and offered
Food & Beverages. You might be asking what is in store for 2007…THE PONY
RIDES! We look forward to having all of you visit the farm, enjoy the
pumpkins and activities with your family and friends, and we are so
honored you have chose the Millennium Farms Pumpkin Patch to help you
build memories to last a lifetime! Happy Fall! |
